Where are the shape memory polymers in vehicle interior?

Where are the shape memory polymers in vehicle interior?
Shape memory polymer was explained previous blog post page.

     1) Seats
The seats are divided according to two materials. The Cover layers are hard plastic that has an ability to function as overall structure of seats. The other layers are shape memory polymers that transferred shapes to adapt with each passenger’s body type and comfort. The seats of bekväm have function as various positions to the occupant’s comfort. Every time the different mode of seats change passenger’s want, SMP are found their perfect form to fit each mode. Furthermore, those two plastic materials help to reduce the total weight of seats rather than current seats.

2) Golf Course 3D Model.
The rear space of interior (Included cargo area) create a huge map of golf courses that passengers going to play. Imagine the 3D miniature model of whole course is appeared before playing. In autonomous drive, the passengers can focus on this 3D model in order to prepare their perfect joy and play. They can imagine how they going to play very detail which clubs are need in different situations.
Except for the space 2 seats and IP area, other interior space should give something distinctions.

Here is the tips to study before playing new golf courses for first players. But this information is also applicable to expert players.

The other things to create through 3D model.

3D Map of destination (Market, Ski Slopes, Department store, Etc)

Golf course 3D model in club houses with details
(green, fairways, roughs, sand, golf carts, golf carts, roads, trees, waters, houses)
Appeared inclinations, heights, length of golf courses.

Shape Memory Plastics in Automotive Interior.

Shape Memory Plastics in Automotive Interior.

Shape memory plastic (polymer- SMP) is that have the ability to return from a transformed shape to permanent shape. The principle of this feature is a temperature change. According to the current researches of SMP, it is memorized the maximum 3 types of original shape when it builds as well as going to develop more in near future.

Here is linked website that shows the principle of shape memory polymer in detail.

This relevant link also shows some market products of SMP and explained how to use them.

Let’s think about applying SMP in automotive material industry. It can be applied to the part of seats or whole material of seats even structure of seats. Also, it can be handled some parts of instrumental panel or steering wheel. Imagine future interior with shape memory polymers. It means interior space can be transfer something different spaces.

My concept vehicle interior, bekväm, going to use SMP materials to some of interior components and seats.
( Back to the introduce of bekväm:

Interior seats can be changed their form to adapt with each passenger’s body type for their perfect comfortableness. Sometimes, they want to sleep deeply or try to relax their tense muscles. SMP are perfectly helped those situations. My purpose of interior design is closely related with how to apply SMP materials on interior components.

Jamon, my favorite ham in the world.

Jamon, my favorite ham in the world.

Jamon is my favorite traditional food in Spain when I visited there at March, 2013.

I ate it in really fresh status with red wine and sangria. Jamon is very similar to the Italian prosciutto, which is easily get in United Stated. However, Jamon is cured longer than prosciutto. It cured the period of 12 to 18 months. I like Jamon’s taste better than Prosciutto because it has deep sense of taste and good quality of uncooked ham.

Icerocket specialized in blog searches. This website also activated with Facebook, Twitter and Flickr. It’s very simple to use. Users find blogs with their finding key words what they want. It also submit personal blog.

A Kid at Heart, blog post about Spain food to try in Madrid.
Found from Icerocket(Social listening tool).
This blog is introduced about special foods in Madrid. Not only this blog shows what is exactly jamon with simple explanations, but also shows other foods that can being compared with jamon.

Thru-e-rain, personal blog post about visiting El Bouqueria market.
Found from Icerocket (Social listening tool).
The bloger posted their journey in El Bouqueria market, Spain. They ate diverse delicious foods and they really try to get inexpensive jamon in order to they want to feasted on. Perhaps they experienced many kinds of jamon in market space.

RECENT PLASTICS IN AUTOMOTIVE MARKETS

AUTOMOTIVE MATERIALS

RECENT PLASTICS IN AUTOMOTIVE MARKETS

Introduction

The automotive industry is gradually developed with using a lot of diverse materials. Especially, the plastic was ready to play a major role in current automotive industry. The real plastics revolution in automotive industry started in 1950 when thermoplastics were made, opening with ABS and going on to polyamide and polycarbonate. The ongoing development of advanced, high-quality polymers has greatly increased their usage. Originally plastics were specified because they provided great mechanical properties mixed with excellent display, including the possibility of self-coloring. The application of plastic components in the automotive industry has been increasing over the last decades. Recently, the plastics are used mainly to make vehicles more energy efficient by light weight, together with providing durability, corrosion resistance, toughness, design flexibility, resiliency and high performance at low cost.

Plastics in automobiles

The average vehicle uses about 150 kg of plastics and plastic composites versus 1163 kg of iron, steel and aluminum – currently it is moving around 15-20 % of total weight of the vehicle.

During the huge growth of plastics in automobiles, it has changed  the advantages of using plastics. Mounting costs are being met by the ability of plastics to be molded into components of complex geometries, often replacing several parts in other materials, and providing integral fitments that all add up to easier assembly. Many types of plastics are used in more than thousand different parts of all shapes and sizes. A quick look inside any model of the vehicle shows that plastics are now used in exterior and interior components such as bumpers, doors, safety, frame and windows, headlight and side mirror housing, trunk lids, hoods, grilles and wheel covers.

Although up to 13 different plastics were used in a vehicle model just three types of plastics make up some 66 % of the total plastics used in a vehicle: polypropylene (32%), polyurethane (17%) and PVC (16%).

Here is the link what is the polypropylene, polyurethane and PVC.
